Odesa Academic Theatre of Musical Comedy named after M. Vodyanoy

This one of the most famous Broadway musicals is staged in our theater for the second time.

The first production was performed in 1987 by director Eduard Mytnytskyi with Mykhailo Vodyanoy in the lead role. The success of the performance was clearly noted by the audience and critics, and for Vodyanyi, the role of Tevye was truly the star peak of his acting career. But six months later, the Master passed away prematurely and the happy fate of the performance was cut short.

And now, 30 years later, "Fiddler on the Roof" is back on the Odesa stage. It is surprising that his topic is even more relevant today. Humanity today, in order to survive, needs to learn wisdom from philosophers like Tevye, who talks to God.
