A children's musical based on the fairy tale by Gianni Rodari with music by the famous Ukrainian composer I. Vrataryov with beautiful poems by A. Vrataryov will be interesting for children of all ages and adults. You will find yourself in a magical land where vegetables and fruits are so much like us - they can talk, think, love and be friends! And the main character, the brave boy Cipollino, is the embodiment of a leader whom others can follow!
The colourful costumes, vivid scenery and music, which is imbued with the melodies of sunny Italy, clearly convey the main ideas of the play:
- injustice should not be tolerated and fairy-tale promises should not be believed;
- even in the modern world there is a division into social strata;
- humanity, mutual assistance, justice, kindness, and the ability to get out of any situation with dignity are timeless.
